UPTM is proud to celebrate a significant achievement as Dr. Erfino, TNCA UPTM, was entrusted by Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) to serve as a Keynote Speaker and Visiting Professor/Lecturer at the ATU-NET Teacher’s Teaching Mobility Programme 2026.
More than just an academic invitation, the platform provided an opportunity to share insights and ideas on ASEAN higher education collaboration, as well as the strategic relationship between diplomacy and higher education.
The participation of academics from Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines further highlighted how higher education networks can serve as a bridge connecting institutions, countries and academic communities across ASEAN.
The knowledge-sharing sessions and networking dinner with UTB’s leadership and academics from universities across the region also provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen professional networks and explore potential cross-border collaborations.
Congratulations to Dr. Erfino on this well-deserved recognition and for representing Malaysia and UPTM on the ASEAN stage. May the ideas and insights shared during the programme pave the way for more meaningful and strategic collaborations in higher education across the region.
